The best way to learn how to fight of course, is to take classes where an instructor can show you exactly how it's done. On top of that, you want to train at least 2 hours 3 times a week. Well, not all of us have that kind of time. It can also cost a lot of money for these lessons as well. Many people who have always wanted to learn to fight and defend themselves never did simply because of these two reason. So instead they settle for having little confidence when it comes to any type of confrontations and wonder if they can even protect their loved ones if something were to happen.

Listen, learning how to fight does not mean you go around and beat the crap out of people. That is not what this is about as some people believe. When you learn how to fight and defend yourself, you will have confidence that if anything were to happen, you can handle yourself or at least minimize the damage. Most people who know how to fight rarely get into fights anyway. The best thing you can do is to avoid fighting. If you're some brainless, hot tempered, teenager who just wants to go around picking fights, then do the world a favor and take up golf or something.
Okay, enough with the lecture. Let's get down to what this kickboxing training site is all about.
What You Will Learn
What you will learn for free on this site is the basics of how to defend yourself. This is NOT some woman's self-defense ,Tai-bo cardio workout bull crap, this will be straight up Muay Thai Kickboxing, one of the most feared forms of martial arts. If you are a fan of UFC, then you know that every fighter needs to know how to fight while standing and fight while on the ground. Therefore, the two most popular styles are Muay Thai for standing, and Jiu Jitsu for the ground game. The reason for this is because both styles are powerful and effective.
This site will show you the basics of Muay Thai. The concept is simple. The only hard part about it is doing repetitions of punches, kicks, knees, elbows, and different combinations until this all becomes second nature. So why Muah Thai and not some less dangerous form of fighting if the point is just to self defend? Simply because it's effective when needed.
Site Layout
So here's how this site is laid out. There will be 52 lessons. One lesson a week. Each lesson will show you the right form, some techniques, combinations, stretching, and among other things. In the beginning, the lessons may be a bit longer due to having to explain certain basic concepts of martial arts in general and training you to get the right form down. Once all of that is done, the rest of the lessons will be shorter, filled with different combinations and defensive strategies.
Will you be able to compete for prize money in fights after you go through these lessons? No. Seriously, don't do it. You'll most likely get killed. 52 lessons, once a week, only equates to about 4 months of training, 3 times a week. What WILL happen is that you will be more confident in yourself and your ability to handle yourself. On top of that, you will be more fit as well. Over time, your punches and kicks will become much more powerful while at the same time you'll become a lot faster too.

To teach you how to fight and defend yourself while also saving you both time and money. Remember, if it's possible, always avoid fighting. That's smart. Trying to show off or "be a man" is just plain stupid. Of course if there's no other way out, then fight if you must, but fight smart.
